This course caters, mainly, to Engineers, Construction Project Managers, Contractors, Quality Control Managers, and public officers and private firm owners who deal directly or indirectly with steel. Through this course, attendees are expected to learn basic fundamentals of steel design; including tension members, compression members, base plates and beams. This course introduces the basic formulae used by the AISC design code for the analysis and design of the basic steel members.
