Thursday. 11/10. 2 - 4 pm ET

This webinar is designed for engineers, architects and contractors who are interested in the direction the electrical part of their business may be headed over the next decade or so.   It focuses on the effect of electric vehicles becoming commonplace and the options for providing electricity for the vehicles.  It also explores the real possibility that electric vehicles will be used to store electrical energy for use by the grid at critical times. In addition, it introduces the technology, trade-offs, economics and benefits of zero energy buildings, with a design example for a zero energy residence. It is now clear that energy storage will play an important role in future electrical systems.  A number of large scale and small scale, existing and emerging technologies will be discussed, including the advent of the powerwall and its effect on standby power systems and grid stabilization.

Date:  Thursday. November 10, 2022. Starts: 2 - 4 pm ET Credits: 2 PDH Units
