The subject of maintenance and protection of traffic is often abbreviated as MPT. MPT and utility work are the two most critical features of any urban highway project. Constructing the final roadway is really the least of your concerns. It's the MPT and utility relocations that require the most time and effort and become the most problematic features of any urban construction. The course's goal is to understand the means, methods and challenges of upgrading urban highways while minimizing the impact on vehicles and pedestrians, and to heighten awareness of the critical role played by utilities. Coordination with utility companies must begin at the earliest phase of project development and continue throughout the construction. H.R.3684 - Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act 11/15/21 The Bipartisan Infrastructure Act will rebuild America’s roads, bridges and rails, expand access to clean drinking water, ensure every American has access to high-speed internet, tackle the climate crisis, advance environmental justice, and invest in communities that have too often been left behind. Now that funds are available, the challenge is to develop the workforce necessary to successfully execute this ambitious program. We have compiled eighteen one-hour classes focused on the basic means and methods of constructing Infrastructure Projects. The media rich content demonstrates   construction details common to a wide variety of projects and will be invaluable to designers, builders and owners and help to insure successful outcomes.
