Air distribution systems, which provide essential heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) in buildings, directly (and substantially) contribute to occupant comfort level and productivity. As such, significant improvements have been made to the design of air distribution systems and how they're controlled over the last several decades. While these enhanced designs and controls have increased building efficiency and resulted in dramatic energy savings time and time again, many buildings continue to rely on obsolete, inefficient systems to supply critical air distribution. BUT...before evaluating whether or not to entirely replace existing heating and/or cooling equipment in a building with a smaller and more efficient solution, it's imperative to understand how you can maximize the cost savings and energy efficiency of already existing air distribution systems using simple, cost-effective modifications.

Join us for our webinar to get the tools you need to maximize the energy efficiency of HVAC systems and minimize the operating costs of existing buildings.

In this live and interactive webinar, we'll explore the simple (and cost-effective) modifications you can make to the two fundamental types of air distribution systems during the Retrocommissioning, Lighting and Supplemental Load Reductions stages in order to increase energy and cost savings. In particular, we'll discuss how you can apply these modifications and adjustments in order to reduce the energy loads of installed HVAC systems in existing buildings. Topics covered include the differences between the primary air distribution systems and how to transform a constant air volume system to a variable one, how to get rid of reheat systems and over-cooling problems, steps to maximize zone-level efficiency, damper maintenance procedures and more. Course Outline

The course was very informative and I plan on using some of the suggestions for cost savings and improved performance at our church. The speaker had problems with the Zoom controls which delayed the presentation a few minutes.
